Evergreen participation, sponsorship, and exhibition terms for use across annual ISOCC editions. Effective date: 20 March 2026.
Unless otherwise specified for a particular event, service, or registration process, the legal entity responsible for ISOCC and its official Website is The Institute of Semiconductor Engineers (사단법인 반도체공학회), Republic of Korea.
These Terms and Conditions apply to participation in, sponsorship of, exhibition at, or other commercial or operational involvement in an ISOCC event, unless separate event-specific terms are expressly provided in writing. In these Terms, “Organizer” means ISOCC acting through the current ISOCC Organizing Committee and/or its appointed Secretariat or Professional Conference Organizer, as applicable.
“Event” means the applicable ISOCC conference, meeting, workshop, exhibition, networking function, or other official activity to which these Terms are applied. “Participant” means any attendee, delegate, author, speaker, exhibitor, or other person participating in the Event. “Sponsor” means any organization or individual applying for or receiving sponsorship, exhibition, or promotional benefits in connection with the Event. References to “Participant/Sponsor” apply, as relevant, to both Participants and Sponsors.
Participation, sponsorship, exhibition, and related rights are subject to availability and are not confirmed until accepted by the Organizer. Unless otherwise stated in event-specific materials or invoices, all fees are due in accordance with the payment terms specified by the Organizer. Except where mandatory law or express written policy provides otherwise, fees paid are non-refundable.
Any request to withdraw from the Event or cancel a confirmed participation, sponsorship, or exhibition arrangement must be submitted in writing. The Organizer may, in its discretion, approve or deny such request and may apply cancellation charges, administrative fees, or non-refund rules in accordance with the applicable event policy.
If a Participant/Sponsor fails to comply with these Terms or fails to make required payments on time, the Organizer may rescind or suspend the relevant arrangement and may reassign any reserved opportunity, space, or benefit without liability.
The Organizer reserves the right to change the Event program, venue, platform, dates, duration, floor plan, format, or schedule if reasonably necessary due to operational, safety, legal, technical, commercial, or force majeure circumstances. If such changes occur, the relevant agreement shall remain in force unless the Organizer determines otherwise in writing.
The Organizer shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, reduction, postponement, or cancellation of the Event caused in whole or in part by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, public health emergencies, acts of government, war, civil disturbance, labor disputes, utility outages, cyber incidents, or failures of venue, network, or platform infrastructure.
If the Event is canceled or materially affected by such circumstances, any refund or credit shall be determined by the Organizer in its reasonable discretion after taking into account costs already incurred and any applicable written event policy.
Participants and Sponsors must comply with all applicable laws, venue rules, health and safety requirements, fire regulations, platform rules, and instructions issued by the Organizer or relevant authorities. The Organizer may remove or restrict any person, booth, exhibit, material, or activity that it reasonably believes is unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, or non-compliant.
Each Participant/Sponsor is solely responsible for ensuring that its exhibits, promotional materials, submissions, presentations, logos, trademarks, products, services, and other content used in connection with the Event do not infringe any third-party rights and comply with applicable law.
The Participant/Sponsor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer and its personnel, agents, and contractors from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from any actual or alleged infringement, unlawful content, or other breach of this Section.
Any Website, mobile application, online platform, directory, attendee list, exhibitor list, speaker information, proceedings metadata, or other Event-related digital resource made available by the Organizer may be used only for the legitimate purposes for which it is provided.
Without prior written consent from the Organizer, Participants and Sponsors may not use such resources for bulk extraction, automated harvesting, scraping, profiling, mass marketing, database building, or the training, fine-tuning, evaluation, benchmarking, grounding, embedding, retrieval augmentation, or improvement of any machine learning or artificial intelligence system.
The Organizer may implement reasonable security measures for the Event, but does not accept responsibility for loss, theft, damage, injury, interruption, or consequential loss suffered by any Participant/Sponsor except to the extent liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. Participants and Sponsors are responsible for maintaining their own appropriate insurance coverage where relevant.
The Organizer may issue additional written rules, manuals, exhibitor regulations, technical guidelines, branding instructions, or operational notices for orderly management of the Event. Such supplementary materials shall form part of these Terms to the extent they apply to the relevant Participant/Sponsor.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Korea, unless the Organizer elects to refer the matter to arbitration or applicable law requires otherwise.
